yeah, i've never considered CANDLEMASS a full-on xianmetal band, just a few subtle lines here & there; it's not like they had a church-going agenda or anything like that, haha...

i never caught any pro-god lyrics in MANILLA ROAD, guess i'll need to re-listen...

lots of good names mentioned, couple other forgotten gems: DIRGE - soulstorm (overlooked outfit on the late ANTHRAX records; ragin speed-pickin attack w/ gruff Lemmy vocals) PSYCHIC POSSESSOR - toxin diffusion (sweet stuff from brazil, has the drummer from VULCANO; sounds like one giant mosh part, h...

I first heard Nocturnus when I saw them open for Napalm Death way back in '91, I think. I saw them on that tour too. Great band, for sure. I feel like they were a bit overshadowed by Napalm Death and Godflesh on that tour (people kept referring to them as "that band with the keyboards"), ...

SACRILEGE B.C.?

debut's a ripper, followup's slower and more typical chugga-bayarea crunch, but it's grown on me...

most BayArea thrash is too tame for me, but POSSESSED, VIO-LENCE, ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT (killer crossover!) and 'the ultra-violence' still gets regular spins 'round here..

About Pretty Maids though pity they went in the more poppy direction with each new release. Am still to hear the s/t MLP but it's at the top of my list. How does it size up to Red, Hot and Heavy? i think the EP is the best thing they've done! nice raw recording w/ a touch of that AOR sound; be sure...

AT ALL! as if I was comparing Endorama to Kreator's discography and I'm hating them because of it! if you fail - give up! fair enough, i've certainly given ppl crap in the past for choosing the 'wrong' albums by established bands...i think anothe...
