It's been a few years since I was there, but Edinburgh did not have much to offer metal-wise the last time I was there. There was precious little metal in the second hand shops, the prices were high (Even outrageous. One tried to charge me £50 for a copy of Death and Destiny 7" which was badly ...

I'm with you on Dissident Alliance. It's pretty decent, though I haven't been listening to it all that much. There is at least some "sting" in that record, and the musicianship is nice, making it "listenable"

To that I can only say "Cold Lake".
Reminding someone of that abomination of a record is just cruel, very cruel

You know, that's the first time I can remember that someone has rated Fatum that highly. Care to elaborate on what you find so great about it?

Awesome find, Knuthulhu!
I was going to sell/trade my old copy and replace it with this. However, when I came home and checked the old one, it had been damaged and is unsellable. Luckily, no other LPs had been damaged.

If anyone cares - just heard from the Kalapacs bloke that did the recent Pokolgep & Omen cd reissues an apparently the early Osssian albums are set to be reissued on cd this northern autumn - also said they want to reissue Metal Lady but the label is now defunct and they're still trying to find...

Found some very nice LPs at a shop in Trondheim last week. All were unplayed and the covers like fresh out of the store. LPs by Accept, Agent Steel, Castle Blak, Judas Priest and Pretty Maids, but the big (metal) catch was Artch's For the sake of man kind for about €6. There were some excellent non-...

Maybe not these records you mention, but you will find Atlain, Noishunter, Satan and every freaking normal record in its normal price, what he says is pretty simple. You don't see a trend in record collecting or even vinyl coming back? Labels saw a chance for some bucks though... There is no such t...

Hot records was pretty good. The prices were low and I found some records there (pretty common ones, mostly borderline metal).

Found some stuff at Trash Palace too. As usually, the prices were high, but I managed to get the ones I wanted a little lower.

Thanks for the tips Mordred and GJ

I remember that brief shiny moment of my life when I had put all cd's I wanted from Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dio, Black Sabbath, Saxon, Manowar, Accept, Savatage, Queensrÿche and the like on my shelves and concluded there was no more 80's metal of note to obtain. :) I have a hard time adding Quee...
