For REQUIEM I'd recommend the "Via Crucis" LP as their most listenable release. Great riffing, all doomy & nice & things, but as a whole that band (and most of THE BLACK albums) were ruined by shoddy musicianship and not-too-great vocals. A real waste considering their great image...

yeah, great song. And the bass playing on Black Angel is beyond, kind of reminds me of the early bass playing of MORTUARY DRAPE.
