Midnight Rendezvous was originally released as a MLP with four tracks. It was later reissued as an LP with four bonus tracks from the first LP I think, so it's not really a different version of the LP, but a different version of the MLP.

Has anyone checked out the LP on High Roller? How's the non-singles stuff?
Isn't it the same non-single stuff that was released on the "Before Your Very Ears" CD some ten years ago?

What's this supposed to mean? I have tons of CD bootlegs & they all tend to come from Russia (& Kazakhstan) & Greece... this is the general trend, I'm not saying all Russians etc... are bootleggers, but maybe they are? It's supposed to be a caricature of your way of jumping to a conclus...

A bootleg then... Iron Glory & Battle Cry are both the same label (re-issues only) and a sub-label of Massacre I think???? No, Iron Glory/Battle Cry do new releases as well, they have done all the 3 Manilla Road albums since the re-union. And why would a cd be a bootleg just because it's releas...

Re: The other Bay Area

Apart from one song Freedom's Rise together with Helstar's debut belongs in every metalcollection, Songs like "Rage of Angels" are the reason for me to listen to 80's metal. Funny you'd mention Rage of Angels, cause it's the only song I can ever remember from Freedom's Rise. It doesn't ma...

Re: The other Bay Area

For what it's worth, here are my opinions VICIOUS RUMORS are one of the best example of an overrated band. Definetely. Helstar only ''Burning Star''(one of the best US releases) the others lower quality of course. I'm not quite sure which albums I have listened to, but at least "Nosferato"...

Definately not better than Vicious Rumors!
Better indeed. But it's a matter of taste, I was never the biggest fan of that slick US power/speed with those high pitch vocals. I like it better raw and heavy, like Meliah Rage.
