Exodus and Overkill visiting my home town next Thursday.

A must see, especially since Overkill is playing sort of an old school show with classics only 8)

I haven't felt any price decline here in Germany when it comes to records, rare or not.

Only difference so far, is that it is now an option to order stuff from the UK. Something that seemed absurd in recent years, but since now the pound has suffered most from the finincal crisis.

That Invader CD has some good power metal tracks, but I think it is a bit over hyped, because the CD is so rare.

Good stuff, if you have tons of money available to spend.

I have got to resurrect this one, if you all don't mind. Found a nice ballad were I least excepted one, on Coven's "Blessed is the Black" album. "Another Life" is a beauty, it even has keyboards! Great ballad. I think there are some un-wimpy ballads, that one can really enjoy. Ir...

true, Carthago is better, I think I liked the song "Unknown Soldier" a bit.

Haven't heard it for a long time, to be honest. Maybe I should give them a second chance. Besides they were from my hometown Augsburg, I wonder what those guys are doing today.

sorry I have to veto that :D

I find them a bit amateurish, at least their singer.

Not bad at all, I think this is better than most of the teutonic metal bands like Veto, Rage or High Tension.

nope, unless you mean Salem Spade from Colorado, who released a best of LP last year. They played some really decent power metal.

Haha, if you can write "Nocturnal Rites" without getting banned from this forum, then I will go with Hammerfall "Glory to the Brave" . That album was catchy big time. Before the first riff of "The Dragon lies bleeding" was over, I already liked that album! If you ...

I though that the vinyl prices went through the roof the last 10 or 12 years. My first visit on a metal record market was ca. 1997, and there were maybe a handful of LP's that went for more than 50€ (Satan's Host, Wikka, Northwind, stuff like that) Now look at eBay at what you get for 50 bucks :( . ...

1986 is definitely MESSIAH - Hymn to Abramelin for me Yeah, Messiah and Death were real pioneers of death! Didn't Morbid Angel start to play death metal in the mid-80s? A album that was later officially released, I think it was "Abominations of Desolation". That should also be on top of t...
