I went to the try-out show. They are really good live, very tight on stage. If they can do the same on a big stage this will be one of the best thrash metal reunions for sure!

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

Not that surprising I think, given the popularity of Midnight and how limited that version was?

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

850 for the De mysteriis dom sathanas seems to be the new going rate. However 220 for Campo de exterminio? 305 for Sepultura/Overdose? That's prime price.
Nice collection though, all killer no filler.

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

Am I missing something or can't you search for past auctions on ebay.com anymore?

Re: What old cult metal bands have all original members?

Wouldn't call them cult metal but I recently learned that Rammstein still has it's original line-up. Quite amazing considering it's a 6-piece band that has been active for 25 years and went from the underground to one of the biggest bands on the planet.

Re: Summer Time Steel

My number 1 summer soundtrack for long drives is...Kyuss - welcome to sky valley Even on your bike? :) Never long drives on my bike. I'm a long distance runner, I'm keeping long bike rides for a later age, when my knee will be fucked from the running and I'll be forced to become a 'wielerterrorist'...

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

The bargain hunting days are over, be it on ebay, discogs, record fairs or private sellers. Having some kind of encyclopedic knowledge on music, bands and pressings was such an advantage in the past. You couldn't impress girls with it, but you could at least pick out the good stuff from the heaps of...

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

It would be, but do you think sellers will list their records cheaper if they have to pay for high listing prices? They will just not list them at all. Some 15 years ago I was in a record shop in Antwerp and I overheard the following story: there was a record shop famous for their high prices. And o...

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

That is why I'm constantly pestering Discogs with requests to implement listing fees for items with prices way above the current max sold price. Without luck so far. From a Discogs point of view = more listings, even at ridiculous prices = more chances of sales = more income. They do not care if it...

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

It's down to $2000.
Another motif: he's accepting offers. Put a crazy price and your item will get attention (the proof...us talking about it). If he had put it at $500 with offers accepted fewer people would have seen it, and the chances of getting a decent offer would have been lower.

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

Too bad that won't filter out certain sellers in the marketplace daily overview messages (that's how I check if there's something from my wantlist).

Just for a good understanding: FUCK OFF SANDERSMAN for polluting those mails with ridiculous priced items DAILY for years.

Seems like the first Sabbat 7" was sold for €1200 via Discogs last month.

Re: Top 5 wants 2019

I have seen the Samael on two occasions from a guy that turns up on record fairs in the Antwerp region now and then, I'll keep my eyes open. I believe it was between 100 and 150 he was asking, but didn't check what state it was in. If he'd be willing to negotiate on the price a bit I would be willi...
