Re: Recent Metal Finds

I believe Deutsche post has, like Belgian post, the state as majority shareholder, but at the same time is also listed on the stock market for the remainder of the shares. Which means that they are constantly balancing the thin line between the interests of the general public versus the interests of...

Re: Muskelrock 2022 (Blädinge, Sweden 3-5 June)

ACID - A huge thanx to Humus for lowering my expectations for this one some weeks ago, as this was pretty awesome! Them ending with "Heaven's Devils" was my #1 festival moment! Still bugs me that I forgot to bring my Acid perler plate and get it signed by Kate though.. Glad to be of servi...

Re: Re:

I was lucky enough to find a reasonably priced Beherit lp last year. Doesn't our friend Astra Wally here have a copy of that BS demo? Ah not sure. I traded with him for a Black shepherd S/T (the two track tape from 1985) years ago. Will check with him if he has this one. Steph from Pull the chain s...

Re:

My wantlist back in 2008. Bought the Watain record upon release but traded it a few years later for a Bonded by evil blood 7" from Sabbat. So in 14 years I managed to get everything from the list except the Slayer shirt. Last one I added was Sarcofago of which I found a copy at the local record...

It's been what, 10 years at least? A drunken version of myself at Keep it true no doubt... Sounds about right  There's a photo from KIT 2019 which I'm pretty sure contains the both of you. Re: (Metal) Recordstores in Stockholm ?

You're in town friday? I'm probably free from fri 13.00 to saturday afternoon if you need a Metal guide 8) Will check for gigs/stuff.. Flying in tonight actually. But it's more of a social/non-metal visit, some friends of my wife who moved to Stockholm. So I can squeeze in some metal but for friday...

Re: (Metal) Recordstores in Stockholm ?

5,5 years later and heading back to Sthlm. Guess not a lot has changed regarding record stores? And not that it’s the aim of the trip, but anything good playing on saturday evening in centre Sthlm by any chance?

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

Let’s assume a $3000 record and two sellers.
The first one lists his copy at $4000 and will not sell for a dime less.
The second one lists his copy for $10000 but accepts when someone offers $3000.

Who do we consider the horrendous seller in this example? Or are they both horrendous?

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

It might not even be a bad tactic.
I mean, we're all talking about his 7" right? If he had put it up for $4000 people wouldn't be posting it on the internet for others to see.

Re: Comments on rarity-gradings, inserts, editions etc on the reviews go here.

Guys, I don't want to be "that guy" but I have a well sorted Thrash/Death Metal vinyl collection, and I practically have "almost" everything that's connected with Thrash, but the Moshlim vinyl I've never ever heard about, nor I've seen any copy for sale in all the past years I d...

Re: Comments on rarity-gradings, inserts, editions etc on the reviews go here.

Don't want to be 'that guy', but Moshlim should not have the same amount of shovels as the Executioner 7". Moshlim deserves a downgrade and Executioner an upgrade, in my huble (and unwanted) opinion  Opinions - humble or not - is exacly what this thread is about :) ...but are you sure yo...

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

The guys with big wallets ... this one's for ya ^^ ($60 shipping for a small single??????????????????) https://www.discogs.com/de/sell/item/1179407927 I guess we enter a completely new category here. Hope that won't reflect on other vinyls as recently the level of seller insanity got raised drastic...

Re: Heavy Metal as a Lifestyle.

'Lifestyle' often comes down to 'dressing style', or I am wrong? I'm getting close to 25 years in this godforsaken thing called metal and I've learnt that it's hard to distinguish between 'true' and 'false' based on external appearance. So many patch vest (note: if you call it 'battle vest' than you...
