Sweet Cheater, hmmm, no, i wouldn't call it a great one. Average, ''techy'', as you call it, thrash. I'm trying to get into them. To be honest, for years I believed that they were AOR / glam or sth, due to name. NP: Checkin' some 3s: Trouble - Simple Mind Condition hmm they sound approx like 15 ys ...

Tape trading in year 2007

Since mp3s are only mp3s after all*, I wonder what is your attitude towards dealing with cassettes / tapes / MCs nowadays. I'd like to know if tape as a medium is completely abandoned and would any reviving only be a vain trial and sign of incurable nostalgia or could its revival develop firmer base...

Except that their last effort was a bit too late. Yeah, I was thinking the same, 1993 was when all the grunge-alt thing was big & this album would just not have sounded right. Too late for who ? Not sounded right to who ? All the stupid queers who jumped on the Seattle/Faith No More etc.. bandw...

schizo were definitely awesome, but dont those demos predate carcass by a good 3 - 4 years? well, Mainframe Collapse is from 1989, demo with same title from 1987. And sounds quite in the vein of Carcass debut from the year earlier to my ears. As for the strange title from their first demo, I don't ...

That one seems to be pretty widespread these days. if you can use slsk it shouldn't be a problem. if not I think I have it somewhere.

If you're looking for heavy bands - nyl sez EM. If you'd be satisified with other genres as well ... Schizo Incinerator Mondocane Convulsed death / thrash / speed ... pretty brutal outcome actually, as it is life there. I think Schizo was quite decent early Carcass worship, Incinerator as Kreator wo...

Starting in Massachussets and ending debating power metal from almost everywhere else in USA ... now that's what I call distraction. To concentrate on the topic I have to admit that Enter The Darkness from debut is a real killer but the rest of album doesn't share its greateness. I have a friend wh...

Sorry, I'm not a computer buff... Neither am I. Well, you'll have to rip cd's or vinyl first. Cd's can go straight into mp3s, while vinyl is a little bit more complex. you have to transfer it from turntable directly to comp via stereo cable (= to record it). then cut it onto proper tracks. T...
