Aaaagghh...Incantation!! One of my favourite death metal-bands!!! I love everything up to "Blasphemy". I think they lost some of that 'evil' athmosphere on the last two albums. It's getting a bit 'samey' also after all those years. The fact that John is now handling the vocals isn't that g...

GUNSLINGER was really good!! Although a set of 2 hours was waaaaay too much, I was pretty impressed by how it totally sounds like "Bomber"/"Ace Of Spades"-era Motörhead! Okay, that little 19-year old girl on the drums isn't exactly Philthy Animal (and I'm not talking about her lo...

Tonight GUNSLINGER in Waarschoot (Belgium). Featuring Alan Davey (ex-Hawkwind / Bedouin). Heard a lot of good rumours about this band. They sound like Motörhead did anno 1980. Curious...

Hmm...maybe that singer of BULLET (Swe) would've been a better choice. However, it's flogging a dead horse i.m.o. How many farewell tours can a band do? Anyway, I wouldn't mind seeing them on some festival bashing out the old classics. With a few beers too much it'll be good fun!

Not the most obscure of melodic metal bands, but I think the first three albums of Nocturnal Rites are great. Especially "Tales Of Mystery And Imagination"! "Programmed" by Lethal is also a classic!

I don't have any problems with Bay Area thrash. Some bands and/or albums I like more than others, but it's a fact that a lot of great music was released from bands out of that particular area. I think most people have problems with he fact that a lot of those bands got soooo much attention from the ...

Banshee (Can) - "Breakdown". Can't get this uptempo heavy metal-crusher out of my head for the last couple of days...which is a very good thing!!! Too bad the B-side of this 7" was a letdown.
