Crystal Viper : Stronghold. I've listened to this song at least 5 times a day for the past 2 weeks! Never really took listened of them before, heard this song and have already bought two lp's this week by them, great band.

I agree good lp, I don't listen to it much but when I do I enjoy it even with that "muffled" sound it has. I believe I have the red version, I think their is also a yellow version. I'll have to check out their myspace site, what's their address incase I can't find it?

Funny I was just outside shoveling the driveway and listening to Count Ravens Destruction Of The Void and it sounds like he plays a little slide on a couple of the solo's.

I really enjoy the full length and have a 7 inch by them. They do alot of splits, some are really great others are so-so.

That Hellish Crossfire is really good, always heard about them but this is the first time I've listened them, I'll have to pick this up. I know what you mean about most of those "old school" bands coming out today, It sounds like they try but fall short. One lp I really enjoy is Crucified ...

I love Overthrow, I have the Suffering Within cd and a track on the RAW M.E.A.T compilation, Soulstorm was later and they turned into poor man's Minisrty, something I'm not really into. A friend of mine who moved to Ontario started to jam with some of those guys and another guy from the band Dyoxen ...

Is that cd really that rare or sought after? I've never heard of them, is it any good?

Kirk Hammett used slide on alot of the Load lp but that's nothing to aspire to! Your right, I can't think of any off the top of my head either.

This is awesome, I looked up some info on them because they seem familiar to me, I think I might have a demo or a track on an old canadian comp, I'll have to search it out. Thanks.
