Re: Help Identifying This Song Clip
I know I've never ever heard this song/band before, coz otherwise it would have ended up on the USB stick for my car. :P But now I know what this band reminds me of stylistically. British band Millennium (pre-Toranaga) ... their later Demos had a similar sound/style and still the vocalist sounds li...

Re: Help Identifying This Song Clip
yeah I had messages with a couple of folks and did some digging, but came up empty handed. For a minute I though I was on to something but it was just a similar potential song title
Still many metal mysteries to be solved.

"In Your Face" sounds fine, excellent album.alien laserblast wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 3:52 pm Got my copy this week. Holy cow, it’s massive! Read the intro and I gotta ask, is there a version of TKOs “In Your Face” that doesn’t sound bad as the intro would suggest?

Re: The Heavy Metal Mania - The German HR/HM guide
Battle Chryst is a record from2007 made by Andi from Iron Glory Records IIRC. I think 10 or 20 copies? Andi is singing. I never heard it (one song on youtube is enough to tell me this is Andi) but I was offered the record more than once and no I did not want to pay the asking price.

Re: Rusted Metal (Book) & Heir Apparent - Graceful Inheritance
Thanks for the info. I've decided to skip it for the moment, because I care the less for the 70's. I wished they covered a different time frame (1980-2020). 98% of the coverage is 1980-1995. 70's overview is just to connect the past with the future(80's). Also 70's guys went on to be in 80's metal ...

Re: "Did I hear that right?!"
I was listening to Liege Lord "Freedom's Rise" yesterday and also "Burn to my Touch" and realized I had been mishearing a lot of the lyrics on these classics for decades. Too many to mention, haha. The real lyrics are much better than what my ears heard....

Re: Metal Collecting ..only for the rich & elderly?
The prices on records have gotten wonky in recent years. Some things like the price asked for Virtue 7" stun me. Obviously this new high price has brought some copies out of the cellar for sale. Why I cannot say, but I can say that it makes it much harder to find something in the wild if a sell...
