Sweet Cheater, hmmm, no, i wouldn't call it a great one. Average, ''techy'', as you call it, thrash. I'm trying to get into them. To be honest, for years I believed that they were AOR / glam or sth, due to name. NP: Checkin' some 3s: Trouble - Simple Mind Condition hmm they sound approx like 15 ys ...

Tape trading in year 2007

schizo were definitely awesome, but dont those demos predate carcass by a good 3 - 4 years? well, Mainframe Collapse is from 1989, demo with same title from 1987. And sounds quite in the vein of Carcass debut from the year earlier to my ears. As for the strange title from their first demo, I don't ...

If you're looking for heavy bands - nyl sez EM. If you'd be satisified with other genres as well ... Schizo Incinerator Mondocane Convulsed death / thrash / speed ... pretty brutal outcome actually, as it is life there. I think Schizo was quite decent early Carcass worship, Incinerator as Kreator wo...

Starting in Massachussets and ending debating power metal from almost everywhere else in USA ... now that's what I call distraction. To concentrate on the topic I have to admit that Enter The Darkness from debut is a real killer but the rest of album doesn't share its greateness. I have a friend wh...

Sorry, I'm not a computer buff... Neither am I. Well, you'll have to rip cd's or vinyl first. Cd's can go straight into mp3s, while vinyl is a little bit more complex. you have to transfer it from turntable directly to comp via stereo cable (= to record it). then cut it onto proper tracks. T...

Also, Noisenik, if you havent already heard it you must get 'Merciless Death-Evil In The Night' (mentioned a few times on this forum) ...absolutely fucking great Euro-sounding thrash! Merciless Death are Exumer re-born in hell! Urgh! I will but the list is getting longer than 70-year old anaconda. ...
