Blind Fury set would be great also. Shame it's underrated. Lou Taylor is awesome vocalist. I never liked M. Jackson, he's terrible IMO.

Symphonies Of Steel is classic killer album, heavy and progressive in the same time. Not a bad moment on it.
New song is very promising. Hope the whole album will be like this.

ALL TIME CLASSIC: 1- MANOWAR BLOOD OF... LOUDNESS HEAVY CHAINS (Japs released this one year later... ) This is ridiculous. Loudness has nothing to do with this band. Akira Takasaki is one of the most original songwriters and guitar players in metal. He always had his own original ideas, so for him ...

I don't like it, it's too modern.
And I agree about Arch's vocals on Awaken, they are thin, which is not the case live or on first two lp's.

For some ignorant people D.R.I. is, seems to me more metal, than W.A.S.P . How punk can be metal? :? I don't get people putting punk into metal and questioning W.A.S.P at the same time.

Keel's Speed Demon & Thunder & Lightning are not metal? What are then, gospel?

Here's another suggestion Brute Force (US) (Ex Heathen Rage) and with Michael LePond on bass. Awesome US Power-Speed and Obsession Demos 83-84, Excellent stuff, maybe their best

Hang on. WHY are WASP not metal? Is it because you can hear 70s influences in their music? Cos I can hear Hawkwind clear as day in Manilla Road and they ARE metal. And the same goes for tons of bands I'm sure you'd never complain about others calling heavy metal. Is it because they used hair spray ...
