Re: Recent Metal Finds (2015)

Ask to 100 other guys and let's see if the % of those who knew this mcd before these posts was over 5% (=at least 5 people out of 100) ? With this low % is it enough to say that the mcd was generally unknown ? Or maybe it has to be literally 0% ? Ps. It's not that we are talking about a master...

Re: Recent Metal Finds (2015)

I'm actually happy something like this happen. Sure, 30$ is maybe a little bit too much, but the purpose of this thread is also to make people know about bands/releases etc., so they can go and listen to them or buy them directly, no ?

Re: Recent Metal Finds (2015)

The fact that you (one guy) had it since 20 (?) years does not mean it's widely known either ...

Totally unknown & surprising MCD from Jap (1991), Motorhead-ish thrash, nice find.

Too bad it comes in paper/cardboard, otherwise I would have gladly paid 7000 euro for it.

It's a later press, with "vertically extended cover picture and "Bells Toll" misprint on sleeve".

Very nice stuff... the 3rd youtube song ("Roses", I guess) sounds like Holocaust by Savatage in some riffs :!:

Re: Deaf Dealer - Journey Into Fear LP wanted

I agree on what you said. It's really starting to be pathetic (many examples lately, not only this one).

Anyway, the cd is fantastic, I'd suggest to buy that one - until you find the vinyl, it's a great way to listen to this masterpiece of all time :)

Re: E-X-E

Of course he was, from the beginning. Pity anyway, no demos... oh well, at least the debut on cd, assuming it's not procdr/digipack/digibook/some other shitty format

Ah, cool news about Viper reissue on cd. I have their second cd "Cash" (under the band name "Screamz"), it's not at the same level though ...

Re: Aurophon "Brainstorm" CD series bootlegs

I believe I still have both versions as well. Comparing the 2 sids by side is where you'll see the difference. That's where my conclusion was made.
