Have you guys ever thought about splitting Metal Conquest subforum into CD and Vinyl subforums? Or at least some of the topics? Insane CD auctions and insane Vinyl auctions for example. This way people only interested in one of those formats could find information much more easily and read only stuf...

I think 25$ is a good price for Mezzrow - I've been hunting it for more than a year and saw it break the 30 USD mark regularly.

What about the value of the following CDs:

No Return - Contamination Rises
No Return - Psychological Torment

I think its more a matter of new generation of collectors entering the market. Those young people have no affection to vinyls whatsoever so they are collecting CDs.

On the other hand I got my copy of that Cyclone for about 40 USD. If I had bought it a year earlier for 140 USD I would probabily be moaning about the drop in price and cursing the boots as well even though I dont want to sell it

Moreover, what's wrong with making profit selling cds ? There's absolutely nothing wrong with this and it's not my point. I'm just saying that the drop in price of certain CDs is obviously good for people who want to collect CDs (=buy CDs), bad for people who want to sell them. You are both a great ...

But we can't deny the fact that all those stupid bootleg cds do hurt us collectors big time. They hurt collectors because the prices for some cds drop because of them? Thats how I understand it in this context. Well, if by "you, collectors" you mean people who make profit on selling CDs, than yes, ...

Thanks!

A guy is selling this CD on eBay right now and he says the matrix is USDM 4018MH 10-88. I thought it was a bootleg and looks like it is. Didn't know that a bootleg existed by the way (except for that one with a coloured CD, but that one is easy to judge ;).

Non-urgent CD questions (READ OP!)

Since the Metal-expertise of our members is often divided into vinyl- and CD-areas I've split the old "Need info on some records"-thread in two, so you'll know what topic to keep an eye on. Using this thread or creating a new more specific one is completly optional. If if you think your question is...

Could you post a scan of the CD? I'd be glad to know how the original looks in case it shows up on ebay again :)

the seller must feel like he's won on a lottery. We can expect a few other copies to pop up on eBay when the word spreads.

I got a bootleg of Realm - Suciety from her some time ago, I think she sells a lot of bootlegs so I've been avoiding her ever since. She's almost like the Rocklahoma guy.
