Why not go the whole hog & add a google, bing or similar search function option too?
First I thought Google = boring & obvious, but I got an idea. Check updated page
Perfection!!!
An elegant solution indeed. Kudos to you sir.

Re: Links-dept. reopened!

Yep, those pictures have a deep, true and authentic power. Don’t know who collected those, but they all share a strong feeling of « teenagery » (does that word exist???...) and innocence that is just so evocative to anyone involved in underground cultures before the web (anyway that’s how I feel ab...

Re: Making the Corro-review-pages more useful..

Thanx! Yes, the point is that once you're curious about an obscure old HM release, you always end up going to the same old places to look for more info - might as well have all the search-queries linked & ready in one place. Yup, absolutely agreed, It's a great idea to have all those search options...

Re: Links-dept. reopened!

https://internetkhole.com/ So utterly perplexing... Can't.... Stop.... Scrolling... Who? What?? Why??? The 80's in 3 words: Sarcofago and Madonna. I know, it's utterly overwhelming & i love the complete lack of any context. I keep expecting to see prople i know/knew but then a goofy 'off du...

Re: Links-dept. reopened!

@kit: Thanx for those. So much interesting stuff to read there, esp. the MayoNoise blog. Will spend the better half of the week to go through those :D Glad you found them interesting DaN, though i fear you're being too optimistic by only setting aside half the week to spend on reading. Though...

Re: Now Playing Thread

https://i.imgur.com/eHxsTBu.jpg Didn't know this nifty live album existed until the other week, what a great little time capsule from their 1987 UK tour supporting Motorhead. I saw them play in Glasgow a couple of weeks earlier on this same trek & came away hugely impressed by Sword & this archival...

Re: MORE, 'Metal Explosion', and Time Travel

Here's his infamous Oz TV appearance with Sweet that we reminisced about so fondly(video is blocked from being embedded): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SmIlC0F3cQ&feature=emb_err_watch_on_yt   How did that lyric go? ' You. You don't look the same. The way you did before. ' Very apt. ...

Re: Links-dept. reopened!

Not sure if this is the type of thing you're looking for DaN, but i'd heartily recommend the MayoNoise blog if you fancy reading some fine writing about the old Metal/Hard Rock scene. The entire site is the work of Bob Mayo who was the bass player in Wargasm back in the day. He's a really good write...

Re: MORE, 'Metal Explosion', and Time Travel

Maybe the time-travelling, disgruntled Paul Mario Day fanboy had to make a quick temporal stopover in your neighborhood to remove your copy of 'Warhead' from the timeline for reasons that I can't quite fathom. I like that theory Alan, can i also blame Paul Mario Day for my place frequently being su...

Re: The Olde Metal Labels Index – additions & corrections

Heads up, the red highlighted 'promos & singles' link in the intro to the Mechanic Records page doesn't work DaN. Thanx for the heads up! Fixed. No worries. Might be worth noting in the 'comments' column that the 1st two songs on Voivod's 'Angel Rat Sampler' Promo (Clouds In My House & The Prow) ar...

Re: What old cult metal bands have all original members?

What about bands with no original members? There must be a few... I suppose Riot is the most obvious example though they at least amended their name to Riot V. If we're including Proto-Metal (and i am), Atomic Rooster absolutely fits the bill. They 'reformed' a couple of years ago with just t...

Same songs.
Possibly different re-mixes or remasters - but if there is any difference between the 2 - is very little.
That's what i'd assumed but as i don't own either version i wasn't 100% sure, thanks for the confirmation.

Re: TAROT - NWOBHM Band CD "Rough And Ready"

Cult Metal Classics released a self-titled Tarot anthology last year which looks to have the same content as 'Rough & Ready'.
Sounds pretty good to me:
