i LOVE that marker vest, looks so cool. i just sent mine through the wash and the india ink that i painted on the canvas patch didn't stay, so i think sharpie right on the denim might be the way. i hate sewing so it kinda makes perfect sense.

Ok, here's an excerpt form a Northwest US gem:

oh no! knobs are turning lights are flashing
edification flourishes rising to the delight
of our ethereal sillouette casting shadows outward
painting pictures for all to see

edit: lyrics transcribed exactly how they appear on the liner

Edit: The TEMPEST demo stuff that rob uploaded can't be hyped enough. What an awesome, beautiful 2LP their discog would make! Wait.. you aren't talking about Tempest from the UK, are you?... the ex-Smokin' Roadie band? What's it like?? Is it as AOR sounding as Smokin' Roadie??? I love 'Midnight'......

FUNEROT

I thought since there was mention of Funerot in the 80's style thrash band thread (thanks Cochino!), I would post an mp3 or two here if anyone is interested in hearing a non-nostalgic newer thrash band.

All I've heard is the "Attack From Above" record, and it RIPS. Great players, real cool, original structures and timing. I also really like the LOUD drums, makes those "studder" parts real jammin'.

SHOW NO LOVE.

I keep all my records in plastic sleeves (although the sleeves I use now get smudgy too quickly, I'm going to upgrade soon to the real slick super glossy ones after I move) with the inner sleeve/insert and record behind the jacket inside of the plastic sleeve... mostly to reduce ring wear and handli...

The early EP's rip, real maniacal, ignorant death metal. I love the vibe. Their early stuff always seemed to straddle the line between metal and noisecore.. like you couldn't tell if it was some detached kid in his basement jamming out those tunes, or a real heavy metal freak.
