MERCYFUL FATE

Well, it surprises me that no one here's talking about the kinda "reunion" that Mercyful Fate had a few days ago. As far as I know there's a re-release on CD dating a few years ago, but I haven't found it. You should ask Diego (MEXDefenderOfSteel) about this.

Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East!!!

My favorite live album ever, and 70's Priest songs played even better than on the records!

Certain RIOT tracks are pure RAINBOW-worship. One part on the solo of NARITA sound almost the same as A Light in the Black. The same with Accept's Breaker (the first riff is almost the same). As said before, Silver Mountain have lots of Blackmore influence as well. I'll check the bands/videos poste...

Have been listening this a lot lately. Congrats about the EP, when and in which format is it going to be released?, maybe we could arrange a trade?
My favorite song on the EP is Fighting Force, reminds a little to Scanner on Hypertrace.

I just realized that the topic says Song of the Day 2010, and it's almost 2012.

Anyway, my song of the day:

Diamond Head - Borrowed Time

Been listening only to Diamond Head for two days in a row, one per album. Borrowed Time is great, but definitely, nothing tops Lightning to the Nations.

Here ya go ;) http://youtu.be/TFUdsgshEmU http://youtu.be/bKcr-Op9TW8 Another Dimension sounded really great. Also, looks like I haven't posted a band from the 90's that totally slays. Inquisicion, they're from Chile, and they played Heavy Metal when most of the bands here played Death Metal. Check...
