Already sounds better than most things on "Angel of Retribution", though the chorus may not be the most convincing one I've heard... I even like the intro and the keybardparts. What a great scream when the song takes off too.

BLACK SABBATH-Headless Cross Call me dumbass, but this one is the best BS album for me. Agree... Hm, definitely the best post-Ozzy one anyway. Whatever, styles are so different the only reason people will compare the pre- and post-Ozzy albums to each other at all is the band name. Love "Headless Cro...

Hasn't he 2-3 black metal projects going already...?
Only semi-liked some 50% of the "Monotheist" material and got to see Celtic Frost three times, so I'm not crying.
But that Sweden Rock gig sure was rather fantastic.

It's been more than a year since their debut album was recorded. And they are still waiting for the studio owner (Olof/Enforcer) to get his ass out of the wagon and finish the mix. Frustrating, because I have an early rough mix and it's so damn good. Even though there were vocals and other stuff mis...

Was intending to vote for the "Kladivo na èarodìjnice" (Witchhammer 93) album but accidentally clicked the "Chípni o kus dál" option instead.
I think that's where all their finest songs are. "Armageddon", "Exorcist", the title track...

Well, that would be a good reason to start drinking.
Yea, I would have traded those Manowar albums in for some scotch any day.

Pagan Altar's Mythical & Magical came at the end of 2006, right? So far it could be even the best metal album of this decade for me. Yea, wtf, guess I was tired or something, as this was even dealt with on the first page of the thread. Well, no matter what year, it's one Hell of an album of course....

What about these, will you be doing die hard versions too? And what about the interview a friend of mine sent you some time ago? ;)

The 5 guys known as Portrait have decided to play a Manilla Road-cover as far as I know. I just warned them that it would be hard to "revive" that terrible nasal voice of the MR singer. As far as these HELLs go I haven't heard anything. HELL are probably so unknown that PORTRAIT might have forgotte...

2007: PAGAN ALTAR "Mythical & Magical" HELVETETS PORT "Exodus to Hell" (if it gets released this year) SIGH "Hangman's Hymn" GUNS N' ROSES "Chinese Democracy" ( probably , if it finally comes out now - the six leaked studio tracks rule) ANGEL CORPSE "Of Lucifer and Lightning" DEATHSPELL OMEGA "Fas ...

Pointless post. Yes I'm so sorry, but sometimes even pointless posts may have a point. Well, even the riffing in "Enter the Eternal Fire" on "Under the Sign..." has similarities to a Manowar tune (and perhaps to Manowar's music in general if you want). Don't know which one it is, might be "Bridge o...

Re: KATALYSATOR

I like it very much too! "Cocoons of Death" is a real hit. And what a great sound/production you have managed to tune in for the music! Really sounds like an old demo from the glory days of Swedish death metal, Nirvana 2002 or something. I love it when a band of 14-15 year olds comes and whipes the ...
