Re: GRUDGE/BARBARIANS OF THE NEW EARTH

Is so totally crappy, makes your Ears want to vomit. I think the worst singer I´v ever heard is (dont remember his name) The bastard that sings on DESTENY´s first album "Beayond All Sense". Cool music though but the voice...Holy shit so fucki´n out of tune. I belive you´ll could get a donkey with h...

PUBLIKFÖRAKT AB HAS A PICTURE SLEEVE?! FUCK IT!
Another title to re-add to my want list then. I will read the stuff through carefully in the next few days and give some feedback, but at a quick glance it did at least not look disastrous. 8)

Yes good LP, but in my opinion "Land of Mystery" doesn't come close to the astonishing "Beyond the Gravestone" demo of 1984. That is the pure essence of gloomy doom metal.

...but you tend to forget all the average bits between the hits, i.e. "Killing Machine" and "Gripping a heart". "Vengeance.." was so much more even. "Back to the Weapons" was their Sgt. Pepper though. I remember the hits Killing Machine, Grippin' a Heart, Rulers Must Come (THE hit), Screaming from ...

Nah. Vengeance of Hell is really weak godawful metal as heavy and brutal as... well it's actually neither heavy nor brutal at all. It's just lame. "Metal Revolution" on the other hand is terrific. A fucking masterpiece I tell you. It's probably the most dramatic development between a first and a sec...

I can't agree about the french scene. With really good-to fantastic acts such as Sortilège, ADX, Blaspheme, Nightmare, Steel Angel (only first album), H Bomb, High Power etcetera in their lineup truth is few european countries spawned so many great bands.

There surely are a lot of great NWOBHM 7"s, but also many lame overrated ones. Often they turn out to be quite lame pub rock or some bluesy 70's stuff, or Hawkwind-jibberish. Many of my favourite singles from the era turn out to be those of the bands that later scored LP's, such as Satan, Blitzkrieg...

Are you talking about some very special pressings of these CD's or what? Cause many of them can be found in regular online metal stores for next nothing. I got Coroner, Artillery, Hallows Eve, Sodom, Coroner etc and I don't think I payed any more than 8-9 euros a piece for them, brand new. Ok here a...

There is no such Running Wild EP officially released. Are you sure it wasn't the "Heavy Metal Like a Hammerblow" bootleg?
