About the Hundred comparison: I'm not sure if it's because band-members themselvelves have a different perception about their music from the outsiders, or I do have indeed mistaken, but I think that you both are epic (Manilla Road, Slough Feg etc), pretty raw music-wise, you both have some folk//ce...

Not bad, but they do need to work much more. For instance the vox don't show much confidence, the musicianship is n't tight enough either, and the songwriting leaves much to be desired. If we compare them, for example, with Hundred, (both underground, UK bands with pretty similar sound) they are st...

LETHEAN (UK) - demo recordings

http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i211/ashbeyj/cover_draftwithlogo_zps6ba9d01f.jpg Lethean is a new heavy metal project from Essex, England. These two songs were recorded around June 2013 but I think it's about time they were heard in draft form. 1. Time and the Gods: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

The nightmare continues. What on earth is going on, Russ North is in every other scene of that video, and appears on the line-up at the end, along with the embarrassing Joe Whelan. I had it in writing from Lee Payne that Russ would not be back in the band "until Hell freezes over"... what ...

Why would any label endorse this travesty of a line-up?

My only petty gripe about the interviews is that the questions should be more clearly separated from the answers (bold or different colour)... can't fault the content though!

That was a very good interview. Good answer about doing the cover John, that strikes me as a prime example of why 80s bands captured so much magic - sheer dedication and playing through ideas for hours on end. It always amazes me how frequently some of the '80s greats used to rehearse - perhaps beca...

? I was just being utterly realistic about the situation. You think I'd actually borrow money just to see him after all these years? It just seemed a really redundant thing to throw into a conversation about a music festival - why would anyone care about this unaffordable strategy of yours? Back on...

I agree with Ion Britton - if a band can't deliver a convincing assault in the space of 30 minutes, why would it be so much better stretched over a longer period? Obviously no band wants to be deprived of stage time, but neither should they take offence at being handed half an hour if they're early ...

I've seen a few of their songs in studio videos they put up, and I thought they were extremely bland. The last Elixir album was as well I thought, besides a few nice moments.
