i voted for the 1st. One of the best albums ever imo, Bill Tsamis is doomed to write ONLY Masterpieces and this LP is the proof. On par with the Warlord EP, everything is so perfect. Ok, no normal singer (it's more "reading" than singing), and a very thin bass and drums sound, but those m...

Legend - From the Fjords I've never been able to figure out what the big deal is with that album. It's got some good songs for sure, but it's no masterpiece. Okey dokey. It may feature a country hoe-down and extended drum solo but 'The Wizard's Vengeance', 'The Destroyer', 'The Confrontation' and t...

IRON STEEL !!! Conicidently I have been listening to both IRON and STEEL Angel this morning! You could try the tried and tested approach of picking a favourite song from a favourite band that fits. For Nile worshippers this can prove tricky as very few venues wanted to headline 'Chapter of Obeisanc...

"noble failure" is a neat phrasing!

I'm presently in the view that the programmed drums and crazy wife voice are as it should be somehow...maybe a good vocalist would have spilt the vile and broken the chemistry!

Which is the best Lordian Guard album?

Number one...or number two? Perhaps only god (once he's calmed down) can choose.

This booklet is great! Jam-packed! Anything which indirectly, or in this case, directly quotes from the 80s Transformers universe automatically claims the tender, luscious bay laurels of victory. This lucrative re-issue embargo has saved me having to email the guy via his myspace for the CD as I'd p...

Oops. I didn't read the thread title properly! The best album for me is unquestionably, by a mammoth-paw span, by the length of the pangean cross-continental mountain range: 'Stained Class'

I'm going! I love Up the Hammers! Not that I know anyone here or am known. I have a huge green head and a slathering forked tongue if anyone's interested...I was actually on one of the Destroyers front covers...I forget which one now. Dantesco have pulled out again though...a bit of a shame. I wante...

Florence Foster "Demon-arse" Jenkins was the true pioneer of the terrifying atonal blackened shrieks we now have come to appreciate on such classics as Burzum I, Burzum II and to a lesser extent...Burzum VIII, part 2 of "Me no like Blackies". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h4f77...
