The recent King Diamond - Voodoo bootleg LP. Probably one of the worst scan jobs I've ever seen.

This might be the only instance EVER when a rerecording is on par with the old stuff. This album sounds awesome, totally keeps that vibe of early Queensryche/Sacred Blade meets Signals era Rush.

It's actually my 3rd favorite after the first two, and the title track is my favorite Pokolgep song. And the artwork works perfectly for a backpatch.

I personally use the word when I describe it, it's basically a NWOBHM supergroup...but I can't say it's technically correct if computer says noooo...

EDIT: I have seen the term "post-nwobhm" used to describe bands like Deep Switch and the Dealer full length.

I like Ethel The Frog, Gogmagog, AND the first Praying Mantis...but I wouldn't put them on a pedestal.

I don't know much about this, but I saw the Scavenger from the 80's on Mausoleum mentioned;that band rules! One of my favorite lp's. It's top shelf power metal with a singer that sounds like Bobby Liebling in his prime attempting to sing like Klaus Meine! (with Klaus' accent )
