Got my copies a few days ago. Look brand new. Almost like they were printed this month... :P
I know, they are in amazing condition. Check the staples though. If they're like mine, they are rusty. Been sitting awhile. I'm glad I did that search when I did!

BUT, being w...

Cheers for the heads up. I just ordered it as well. Looks like an interesting read.
No problem! Was trying to find an English version of #3 to download via Google, and the auction popped up. Pure dumb luck.

Metallic Beast fanzine #3 & 4

For anyone interested, there are new, old stock copies of Metallic Beast fanzine for sale on eBay from original editor, Peter Markham. He had them in a box in his attic for 30 years. I got both in the mail yesterday, and they are in brand new condition. English written versions. Decent price too, in...

45 USD for a cd,,,,.
Yep, and $30.00 for the US. Pretty outrageous pricing there. Doubt they'll be flying out the door.

Has there ever been a legit CD edition of Damien's "Every Dog Has Its Dog" on Select Records? Is there a bootleg of that edition also?
That one, and "Stop This War" were both reissued legit on Power Play records a few years back.

He clearly said that he would be selling from the Stormspell webstore for one week only. First time he'd done it ages. He usually ships to CD baby and sells through there.

Re: Genres You Got Tired Of

Definitely has to be Black Metal for me. It was interesting at first, but then everyone was more concerned with being more "true" and posing in the forest. I also realized that the music just didn't seem to have any real "heaviness". There are some exceptions, like Dissection. Notveidt was a guitar ...

Re: 80's Metal fanzines - discussions/tips/page-feedback (CONTRIBUTORS WANTED!)

Just a little something I've noticed: the pdf's at the end of each page are compressed and turned into b/w, which makes stuff in colors really hard to read if you download that version. Maybe for the next batch it'd be better so save all the image files into a rar and rename it into a CBR, so maxim...

Also, Dan, could you put a "download as PDF" link on Blackthorn #7? Need to print out a physical copy to read on the shitter...ha! Much appreciated!

"BLACKTHORN # 1, 4 - 8" says my inventory list, so yes, hopefully (at work now). I'll make it a priority then :)
Thanks, Dan. That's awesome! Too much great stuff in that pic.

Re: Official Heavy Load reissues on No Remorse

I suppose, if you want one, get one. If you dont, then don't. Seems like alot of strife over something like a reissue.
