Haha, I was just joking 'bout the idiot thing ;-) Well, I still laugh when I hear songs like "Moving down the line" (from the Every story needs another picture record). It's got a very cool 80's disco bassline. But I think the first 4 records are mandatory stuff for anybody, and available for fair p...

I've got nearly everything of Picture (NL). I don't really like all of there releases, but somehow it just happened. All LP's are pretty easy available, but I've also got test pressings, foreign pressings, 7"es, most of all including merchandise sheets etc. I also do have all their fanclub magazines...

Crap like AC/DC? Tss.. grow up!!

Anyway, for rare stuff I'd go to metal markets or ebay. I used to find some rare records in stores through Holland, but I dont have time to visit them anymore.

Haha really? Well... he's certainly a crazy motherfucker.

Francky Nipple, who played in some maffia films (even bigger ones) used to be the singer of the Dutch speed metal band "Exploder".

tbieri: thanks for the offer! I'll contact you, maybe we can sort some things out together. Dan; That's true, but I think some things can be improved. Well, first I need to change some things in the lay-out, and I'll be adding some bio's today I think. I'm also thinking 'bout opening a review sectio...

I think you mean El Dragon's "La mascara del hierro"? (If I write it correctly...).... fuckin' killer record if you ask me. There are some pretty dominant keyboard parts involved, but not really annoying at all, more Purple styled keyboards.. I love songs like "Hijo del mil", titletrack... "Soldado ...

Can't help it but I just put on the Master of Disguise album from you know who... and I think it'll be glued to my vinyl table today... so that's the LP of the day today.

Help on Dutch Metal Encyclopedia

Hey guys & girls, Some may know that I & some other friends are working on a Dutch metal encyclopedia, namely Holland Heavy Metal . But it's far from being finished though. They lay-out needs a kick in the ass. The articles too (the English is shitty) and... the list... aargh. It's too much work... ...

Yeah I once posted that review on another forum. Needless to say everyone was furious, haha. But I have to agree, "Downtown" (or "Iron on Iron" as the CD is named) is a brilliant record. My fave songs... well... I guess "D-day" is my favourite. They're still playing every now and then (their KIT con...

Pick up a Fender Strat and put a humbucker at the bridge to avoid that hum and you've got yourself one sexy piece of ass. :D Gotta agree. I've got a Jackson.. some old model from ' 94. Sound is great (2 seymour duncan HB). But I still don't like the big frets. Balance is perfect. I'm also watching ...

Thanks to "Boss" we've got a lot shitty sounding bands I think... I really disgust this "Metal Zone" distortion pedal almost every single "metal" guitarist uses. Maybe someone likes it and knows how to turn the knobs right... but I don't even wanna touch these thingies... Personally, I prefer distor...

A good song to play along the solo with is Deep Purple's "Highway Star" (or take the Metal Church cover... ha). It's not too fast but the solo part is really varied including bends, taps/HO's & PO's.... it's one of the songs I started with when I wanted to learn lead/solo-guitar.

My fave guitarist is Iommi, and his best solo's (well, my opinion) are on "Glory Ride" (!!!) and "Mob Rules" ... I like all of his riffs, solo's...

Of course I like a lot, lot, lot^3 more guitarists, but Iommi was the first to play that heavy.
