Re: Fatal (Michigan, US) Rehearsal 8th February 1990. (Restored & mastered)

Thanks a million for uploading this! This is one of my fave old DM bands, shame that they never seemed to get the full attention that they deserved.

Reji Cat JimZ's. Christ (USA) - Straight From Hell LP 1988

Front Scan.jpg 6 tracks of inept, weird outsider "metal" released in 1988. I ripped this from my copy of the vinyl (scans/pics included). Honestly, this isn't as interesting as I hoped it would be, but it's worth a quick listen if you're the kind of demented masochist who enjoys stuff lik...

Re: More help needed

http://ebay.to/1lRJIsm  Yeah, that's the copy I won. I'll do some scans as well when I rip it. I did a search on the US copyright website out of curiosity recently, and it looks like the guy behind the project has a whole lot of stuff copyrighted, including other music. http://cocatalog.loc....

Re: More help needed

A bit of thread necromancy here, but I just scored a copy of this LP for pretty cheap (after being on my eBay watchlist for 7 years now). If anyone is still interested, I can rip and post it after it arrives.

Great stuff! I'm pretty shocked this is from 1992. By then, I'd expect Swedish metal bands to be copying Entombed instead of Gotham City. :D

I don't own a testpressing of that LP, so I can't say for sure. I have heard some MP3 rips of that testpress LP that sound better than the CD reis...

I always felt like the riffs on this Lucifer's Friend track were total metal:

Here's something I've always wondered about, but this thread is the perfect place to post this. Why do so many people on forums really feel the need to argue and and have the last word just to make themselves feel better about their points of view? Why will some people pathologically argue things ju...

I actually was given a master tape recently and managed to lift off some demo tunes recorded prior to the album, and those are some cracking nasty dirty rock'n'roll tunes. If I ever manage to break even on the box-set, I may consider making a follow up release, although the realistic chances are qu...

A bit of thread necromancy here, but I recently got this 3CD box on a whim. Bad news first - the "Killer" CD is unlistenable for me except for comedic value (sorry, just not into that style at all), and the "Keep Runnin" CD is pretty unremarkable except for the killer title track...

Yeah, this is truly the epitome of a home-made demo, recorded during rehearsals on a 4-track machine. What survived was a beaten up N-th generation copy of the original "master" cassette tape... still better than nothing, and the youthful zest and enthusiasm makes it up somewhat, definite...

It's really solid and nothing not to like about it, however I don't quite feel there's any one song that grabs me by the balls like the best moments of Playground of the Damned did. Gotta agree with this. While I enjoy it, none of the songs really jump out as being very special, but I've only liste...

Wow, thanks for the upload. I'm only a few songs in, and it's a solid album so far. If I had seen this while looking through records, I'd have never thought it was a metal album. I wonder how many unsung gems are out there because of this reason alone.
