Rats - out now on Pearls for Swine Records

https://i.imgur.com/ycSqCEq_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium So, lately I’m attempting the business model of releasing often dead things on even deader formats. This is my second tape release, which I thought could interest some frequenters of this forum. Check it out. Listen/...

It's been a while, but that album sure had a few worthwhile songs. Though nowhere near the first two, or the vintage stuff! The rendering of the title-track is really weak in comparison to the 1972 version too, which had a much better chorus. That said, "Petrified" is heavy...

Ah, anything Randy Rhoads- or Jake E. Lee-era is good for you. "No Rest for the Wicked" too, even though Zakk Wylde is playing on it. "No More Tears", that's where it started to suck.
Best album is "Diary of a Madman", right?

SILVER MOUNTAIN live in Malmö September 4th!

Yes, the band apparently reunited once again. On Saturday 4/9 they perform at Pildammsteatern in Malmö ("just like in '82").
Got no links or anything, read this in one of the local dailies this morning.

Punk this, old school that... "F.O.A.D." and "Dark Thrones and Black Flags" mainly maintains Darkthrone's tradition of having a maximum of two really worthwhile songs on each release, established already in 1996 with the "Total Death" album. Will make for a great best o...

" GUNS N' ROSES "Chinese Democracy" " seriously?of the decade? Never been more serious, love at least 90% of that album (wipes its ass with mayflies like Crash Dïet day and night by the way :). On the other hand, the decade could have been a better one concerning the amoun...

Bathory "s/t". I sometimes get the impression that people worship this album mainly because it's so damn cool, or it's that cult debut with the goat on it or whatever. But I worship the songs and the style. Never afterwards has a band been able to sound like this (well I don't know how man...

Pagan Altar "Narcissus"
Song of many days... As it feels now, maybe even the best song on the album. I even get some Roky vibes from it.

Ask the band via MySpace or else. They made a second unlimited run of the demo after the initial release of 300 copies sold out. There is no difference between them. The CDR Version however is not available anymore... For 5€ it's yours, truly a cool demo worth getting No, actually the demo is sold ...
