Re: Lesser know 80's Doom...

Btw, here's a fun idea: Who's up for a collective project of putting together a mix-CDR of one-off Doom/Doom'ish tracks from olde kült trad HM vinyls? I'm talking about "that ONE Doom track on the album"-type stuff {...} Late to the party, but since Vatreni poljubac were already mentioned...

oh doG YES, I had been looking for Morbid #2 for aaaaages... Real glad to find all the issues of Not as well. That Jonas Åkerlund-Bathory interview (mini) is a pretty unique find I'd say. Do you know or at least hold the opinion it is pristine? It was easier to interview an alien than anyone associ...

Re: Recent Metal Finds

Live in Zbraslav is a cool listen but the horribly out of tune guitars ruin it a bit, shame. Finished however rules in hell, Nifelheim's Servants of Darkness has strong influence from it by the way, and it actually took me to realise that to truly get into the album. Became my favourite since then....

Re: Recent Metal Finds

400 for Hammeron is a great deal! Why didn't you tell me you want those Master's Hammer LP's? Cheesus I can't believe it... The live LP is awesome btw, the sound is fantastic. I'm not a fan of live LP's at all, but the sound is rather like a demo. Definitely better than the first 2 MH Demos....

Re: The North-American Heavy Metal 7" Guide (Ye Olde Obscure)

After fixing a few missing pics in Khnud's latest update I've also taken the time to sort out his 3rd sampler of NorthAm HM/HR obscurities: https://thecorroseum.org/features/northamerican7s/images/sampler3.jpg Man, this one might be my fave so far - absolutely crammed w/ awesome tunes, and a great f...

Ha ha.. Nope.
The Ripper wrote: Sat Apr 06, 2024 3:07 pm Original Hammeron?? Price?
Yeah. Both Hammeron and Emerald were previously unopened copies where the seller had played them once or twice, so M-/M-. Acceptable market price, i.e. €400 each.

Re: Recent Metal Finds

Can't compete w/ mr Prowler of corpse, but worth adding the haul from Sweden's (actually Scandinavia's) largest record fair a +month ago: Solnamassan-2024.jpg Bottom half are originals. I hadn't had the time to attend the fair for 2+ years due to my previous night-shift work schedule, but with the n...

Re: Ray Dorsey / Enlightened Chaos fanzine interview

Just enjoyed reading that in depth interview with Ray. I have to give credit where credit is due. Ray asked me if I knew of The Lord Weird Slough Feg. At the time I did not. He had just received the mini-cd on Beef Rock. I'm pretty sure I mention this during the podcast episode I'm on at http://slo...

Ray Dorsey / Enlightened Chaos fanzine interview

Praise Hail our master chief Noisenik! His interview w/ Ray Dorsey of Enlightened Chaos fanzine has finally been added to The Corroseum website.
