Re: 'Unintentional Metal' / 'Metal-by-mistake'

Been searching for a cheap copy of the Chacal LP for ages now. It's just not worth the price it goes for. It's not rare as fuck as you can see, but paying beyond 100 E for such a mixed bag is weirdo imo...

Re: Is Metal collecting still Fun?

Mordred is totally right. Although in a way it sounds completely absurd, that there's more European pressings available, than US pressings for certain records. Got a few more, all released at the same time and one might think that the better market was in the US. But nö, mainly or only European pres...

Re: Is Metal collecting still Fun?

@DaN: 137 E for a Sodom nowadays is rather "cheap". There's been a copy for sale a few weeks ago on German ebay and within 2 days the price was up to 200 E already. Though I don't understand why old Motörhead or Ozzy records, that exist in millions of copies, need to be priced like 30 E mi...

Re: Is Metal collecting still Fun?

Yeah, it's still fun. Sooo many discoveries still... It's true that on Discogs and Ebay there's mainly "black sheep sellers", who are trying to fool the younger guys with prices ranging from 3x till 10x the common market prices and I'm sure there's the one or another jerk who indeed is pay...

Re: NORTH AMERICA PRIVATE 45's BOOK

I prefer the ''heroes-of-the-metal-underground'' book which includes interesting stories, interviews etc although the latter clearly lucks unbiased reviews of the albums presented. That book in places is a total mess when it comes to the listing of the singles. To find something special you're quic...

NORTH AMERICA PRIVATE 45's BOOK

Guess the book that John Haupt was trying to release a couple of years back is finally being available soon:

Re: The "Collectors Ring" @ metalpage.de...

To be honest I haven't made so many positive experiences with other "collectors". I wouldn't even rate myself a "collector", but Metal fan. I actually play the shit I purchase and there's not a single "ss" record in my shelves (What's the meaning of that btw?). Majority...

Despite being a megasucker in christ's name, Medieval Sorcery is only the name of the album. The band is called Dark Ages.

Re: Belgian GOOD Metal :)

Yeah, CROMWELL could be added as well. It's a mix of female fronted AOR and Hard Rock. There isn't any city mentioned on the back sleeve but info is not in French. They are definitely Belgian. Also checked the No Smoking single again, info is in French, but no city mentioned either. Musically it's f...

Re: Belgian GOOD Metal :)

You can add the NO SMOKING – Jany Jane 7" too. It's poppy Hard Rock.
And NH3 – Eclosion is a 12" not 7". (Unless there's a separate 7" version available additionally.

Re: Requests

There's a reason why you can't find MP3's of Rust "The last laugh". If the sound of the album would be known to everyone, no one ever would spent any single Cent for it anymore. It's a real sucker, made by kids. The titles says it all, this will be your last laugh ever. On the...

Re: Quest and Filthy Rich

https://www.discogs.com/de/artist/5009771-Filthy-Rich-17 If Filthy Rich edition would be only 100 copies then we'd have to pay similar money like f.e a Paradoxx, so that's a hoax. Actually the Filthy Rich LP is easy to find and rather cheap with $40-$60 and overall musically much better sounding th...

I doubt it's a 12", since the youtube pic there's clearly a 7" shown.
