Re: The Heavy Metal Mania - The German HR/HM guide

Little correction for Lizard (Sundern) Uli Bohne was the lead singer (and keyboardist) of the band but just on the 1st demo Primeval Times. After he left the band and Holger Vehne and Burkhard Keller shared the vocals on their later releases. You can check the inlays of the demo tapes and as I live ...

Re: High Roller Records and its additional postage tax or something along these lines

Yes, that's the VAT you have to pay.

Before everyone in the EU had to pay 19% german tax when you ordered from HHR.

Now you have to pay the VAT of your own country.

If it's higher as 19%, you pay more, if your local VAT is fewer as 19%, you save money.

Re: High Roller Records and its additional postage tax or something along these lines

Do you mean VAT? When you're based in the EU, you have to pay your local VAT and not the german VAT as before. Or is it about shipping prices? HHR now uses DHL Express and FedEx as shipping method that's why you have so many different prices even within the EU. It has nothing to do with any german f...

In the very early beginning Lemming Project was called "Secret Lemming Project".

Later they shortened their name to Lemming Project.

Re: Sacred Blade - Demo questiön

I bought this one and another Sacred Blade demo back in the early 90's at Hellion Records store but it's not an official one as far as I know.

Jürgen made/sold a lot of bootlegs at this time.

Shipping to Sweden is 15€ with DHL.

But I'm sure when you speak to Helle and order directly from him, he can send it cheaper.

Re: Recent Metal Finds

Well you can't have the one thing without the other ... lol Those Chroming Rose "Pressure" vinyls are even hard to find here in Germany. Can't remember anymore when I've seen a copy on german Ebay. Damn, that’s what I thought (although I hoped it was findable, just that nobody cared about...

Re: The Heavy Metal Mania - The German HR/HM guide

Some corrections of Samain.

Fred Bertram and Manfred Bayer are the same person.
Manfred Bayer is his real name.

The band was from Hohenlimburg/Iserlohn, not Hagen.
Their practice room was in Hohenlimburg but the most members were from Iserlohn.

Not the same band as the other that realesed a demo in 1991 and that was based in Hesse not far from Wiesbaden.

Hesse is not a city, it's a german province and Wiesbaden is the capital of Hesse.

Re: Celtic Frost "Morbid Tales" versions

I bought the ep as it came out the same day and it has the sticker on it.

A later pressing had the printed stripe in the upper left corner as far as I remember.
