Walpyrgus - Walpyrgus Nights
Thought this would sound like Twisted Tower Dire but it's some awful, nice, happy power metal crap. A song called 'Dead Girls' even sounds more like pop punk. Lacks any edge at all. Very disappointing.

Re: Messiah Force - The Last Day T-Shirts available
I've had shirts that stretch very easily & where holes form around the edges of the print.
Lighter shirts are better at a packed gig but a heavier one like this is more useful in an Irish climate at least!

Re: Sortilege's Larmes de Heros should be reissued also
I didn't realise the LP price had gone so high. Clearly better than Metamorphose to these ears. Considering that everything is getting reissued these days then, yeah, it's surprising. Worth a reissue for the cover alone!!

Probably my favourite French metal album. I didn't think it was that hard to get though?

Got one of these and it looks great. Nice heavy shirt too, not some flimsy piece of shit.

Can't wait to catch them at Hammer of Doom. So happy to hear the glowing reviews but I'm refusing to watch any clips. That set list will do just fine!!

Re: Metal Squadron (webzine)
That Dexter Ward interview is a very enjoyable read. I really liked the way he answered in depth and opened up to the more 'normal' details of how he came up with some of the lyrics and songs. I must pick up the new album.
Great stuff Leif!

Re: LEGIONNAIRE - The Enigma of Time demo out!
This arrived yesterday and I gave it a blast earlier. Not bad at all. I guess Solstice (UK) and Slough Feg would be an influence. Clearly a band finding their feet but I like it and will be keeping an eye out for a full length.
