RENO RANGERS - We Are The Rock Braindead southern rock which presumably was made specifically for this compilation[?].
ROULETTE - Without A Second Thought Melodic hard rock with some great guitar work. Also released as a single the following year, unfortunately with a crappy ballad as the B-side. Drummer Rob Schulte continued on with the band TOPCATS who recorded a vastly inferior version.
24K - I Gotta Know Rather poppy vocals but the guitar sounds just like NIGHTIME FLYER's "Out With A Vengeance". These guys were popular in the New Orleans scene, walking in the shadow of ZEBRA.
REUNION - Long Long Time Pretty good for a pop country tune.
DAVIS - The Door Soft rock.
FULL CONTACT - Sometimes In Life Hippie rock.
Tracklist side B:
BITTERSWEET - Can't Break The Spell Female-fronted hard rock like HEART.
PERSIA - Hustling In Hollywood Channeling LED ZEPPELIN and AEROSMITH into something significantly more metallic, but ultimately unsatisfying when compared to their track on the second WRNO compilation. Released as a single under the name ROYAL ORLEANS earlier in the same year.
DIAMOND - She's Got A Secret Interesting, dark, but not that heavy hard rock/metal.
THE RAFFEYS - Fat Chance Pop-punk.
SEXDOG - I'm In Love Powerpop.
WRNO THEME - The Rock⦠Then And Now Seven minutes of radio aircheck clips.
