SAUL BLANCH - Dama De La Eternidad This solo-outing from the original RATA BLANCA-vocalist is one mighty fine piece of Type A melodic-Metal-w/-keys-&-neoclassical-solos, for all fans of such things. A similar but not quite the same version as on his "Fiel A Sus Fieles" LP.
SAMSON - Himno De La Alegria Metal-version of Beethoven's 9th. Not sure if it's the exact version as on their "Rutas Peligrosas" LP or not...
SAMURAI - Traicion Great melo-Power sounding like a successful mix of Aria and "Thundersteel"-Riot. Vocalist Walter Meza joined Horcas in the late 90's.
HOMOBLOCK - Segundamente Low-key, mid-pace generic Metalrock with vocal harmonies that for some reason reminds me of your typical US White Metal band(?!)
Tracklist side B:
EL DRAGON - El Regreso Del Dragon El Dragon mixes Killers(BEL)/Tyrant(GER)-type Speed Metal and hammond-fueled HR quite ingeniously and this shorter version of the closing tune on their "La Mascara De Hierro" LP definitely carries a lot more punch here.
RARA AVIS - Buenos Aires - Bronx Punky/punchy Hard Rock with a catchy chorus. Good stuffs occationally reminding me of early Arkangel.
FAUST - Don't Leave Me Now (Roxana Blues) Never-ending ballad. Similar but not the same version as on their 1993 "La Marca" CD.
DAMA BLANCA - Loco De Amor After a soft intro threatening us with another ballad we're presented with straight-up Metal-rock w/ a heavy nwobhm'y lead riff and American Street-Metal veneer. Changed their name to LĂnea Venenosa shortly after.
