Serpent Throne

Anyone heard them? My friends Demian (ex-Otesanek), Colin (Red Devil), Sean (ex-John Denver's Airplane), and Don (I don't know if he has any other bands but he does have a Voivod tattoo) have a relatively new instrumental project based out of Philly called Serpent Throne. Inspired by early-80s heavy metal, mid-70s twin-guitar dynamics, 60s biker rock, and Satan. It's a great mix of driving riffs, harmonized leads, trade-off solos, and Satan. Totally, unashamedly derivative yet creative in its own way and completely worthwhile. They recorded a cd a few months back and have put up four of the finished tracks at http://www.myspace.com/serpentthrone. Figure they might appeal to a few of the folks on this forum.

Yeah I got some instock for some people, then they didn't want them.... and then some people wonder why I don't reserve anything for anyone anymore...
