He will open paypal dispute saying item not received if you don't put a tracking number on it if its worth a good amount of money. You can check his feedback for yourself, he leaves people feedback saying things like: CD unfortunately not received!, money back only through PayPal, so neutral! (this one was translated from german)

unfortunately CD not received, seller cooperative,Getting money back, very fair!!

Unfortunately CD not getting,Money was refunded without difficulty, fair seller!

CD not getting,Seller uncooperative,Only switch by Paypal I got my money back!!!

+ Quite a bit of other feedbacks

He pulled this scam multiple times. He only does it for expensiveish items that don't have tracking numbers on them. I know since he pulled this bs with me and stole my cd. He did this to me quite a long time ago, at first I just thought it got lost. But I checked his other feedback he left people which gave it away that he is a scammer. You can check the feedback of the people he leaves the feedback to and see that he almost always does this with expensive cds. Like I.n.c. the visitor org press, deathrider requiem, purgatory tied to the trax, etc. It also seems he buys a bunch of cheap cds worth a few euros probably just to raise his feedback score. And he also sometimes sells bootleg reissues and says in the auction that they are first pressings.

Also you can see he bought this purgatory cd from legacyblau
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0594233619, then he lists it a 2 or 3 days later himself. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 0542459598
But he leaves legacyblau a feedback saying he did not receive the item!

If you do not believe this just check his feedbacks he left other people for yourself! http://feedback.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... &items=200
(You might have to translate them)
You could probably send to him with a tracking number and be okay but why risk it? I have even heard other people on this forum post that he uses shill bidders when he sells as well! Avoid this scumbag at all costs!

it is so easy to cheat this way that I am surprised more people don't do it.

Anyway, I think PayPal should put some limits on those item not received claims, and block an account when someone has issued too many of them in a short space of time.

Yeah really I don't know why they don't have something like that, Amazon has a 5 dispute lifetime limit but people can still get around that by making new accounts after reaching the limit.

I also remember that he tried to sell bootlegs, claiming they are original.

when I asked for a matrix code, he told me he doesn't know that word, while in other auctions he already named some matrix codes.

strange guy.

Just a little word of warning about this particular ebay-member: he is also selling bootlegs. The Dark angel shirt he is selling at the moment ("bought from the band in 1987") is just a recent bootleg.
What's up with ze germans huh?

I have never dealt with a guy, I asked him something once & he was very kind & polite. I haven't noticed that he claims for undelivered expensive cds. The truth is that he buys & resells all the time, not a surprise just a sign of our times.
Bottom line : send only registered (especially for expensive cds). He will pay the extra & he will thank you in the end! :D

I have bought from this guy a few times in the past and of course always inquired about the item before placing a bid. He always provided me with the information that I had asked for.

The only problem that I can remember is that his shipping was EXTREMELY slow. He's from Germany and they have among the quickest postal system out there and I believe that I had to threaten a dispute to get a solid answer out of him regarding the package.

This guy is also a regular user on musik sammler under the same User ID.

Ok I must add this. Some months ago there was a german guy selling a lot of old cds (some rare as well). I asked him the matrix code of a couple of them just to be sure. He didn't know what means "matrix code" so I explained him by showing also a pic, and everything worked ok.

Later that day the seller contacted me again and asked for help as a buyer was stating that the Viking "Man of Straw" cd he had on auction was a bootleg because it has no matrix code, and he should have shut down the auction and give him for free together with other cds he was going to win. I explained to the seller that that particular pressing had no matrix code so it was good, and that guy was probably trying to fool him ^^

Guess what happened ? The notorious 123dirk789 contacted me saying I don't understand anything of heavy metal cds and I should shut up, that he has the real original with a matrix code and that the no matrix code pressing is surely a bootleg.

I replied him that he should hide in shame because it is known that there are two original pressings and one has no matrix code, and also how come if he already has "the real original" he is looking for this "bootleg", trying even to fool the seller ?

Need more proof this guy is a shithead scammer? Here you go:
He bought Target master project genesis bootleg from seller bjorpec and you can see that he left negative saying he didn't receive it.
http://feedback.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... tForOthers

Now, he tries to resell the bootleg cd he got for free and pass it off as an original pressing, purposefully avoiding a big enough picture to see if it says proibited or prohibited in it, and also lying saying in the description that it is not a bootleg but an original 1st pressing.

Jewel cases look different in the pictures, but I suppose he just changed them.

I'm not saying that he isn't a scumbag. I'm just stating my own personal experiences with the guy.

There's another one ;) look here http://cgi.ebay.com/220755175259

"CAROL CD 1396 Matrix#112127-16-9187-1-N-8M15"

My own copy is without matrix btw, and I clearly remember that the spare one I had for trade/sell was missing it too.

This is the first time that I have seen one like this.

It looks odd to me.

I'd personally like to see a scan.

Not anymore, currently German customs are hellish nightmare and packages sent to Germany take 6-8 weeks or sometimes even more. I have tons of such, all sent via priority mail.
