A small question I know, but I gotta get it right for the book. Was this Italian band, who released a demo in 1987 and a rare LP in 1990, named AES (an acronym for something) or Aes?

Re: Italian metal: AES or Aes
The right name is Aes(it's not an acronym,it's an old latin word and it means "bronze" in english, see also http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aes_signatum ).and yes, they recorded a demo in 1987 and an lp in 1990.Plantweed wrote:A small question I know, but I gotta get it right for the book. P.S. btw, what is the book you are referring to?
Solo i morti hanno visto la fine della guerra.
Thanks, Nonseinormale65! Glad to clear that up.
For going on a couple of years now I've been working on a book (tentatively titled DemoLition) that will document, and in all possible cases review, every known 1980s metal demo. Looking at around 6000 bands and 8000 demos. Bazillion Points will be publishing it. You can track progress, and possibly help with tapes and info, here:
