my friend still has these lists on his shelf, they were green and yellow i think, and i think your first client was Helmut Mueller who later sold all his stuff to Chris P instead of selling them back to you,or so i was told
i also heard stories abour tantrum and thatcher being pissed off finding out you were selling their stuff,im sure u have a few of these stories.
thatcher was way overpriced for 94 haha

I never talked to Tantrum so... I dont know

Thatcher I dont think was made since we talked for years and he never said anything. I was really stupid back then. When I got the first batch of copies most were warps so I put them in the trash. Today I can fix them NO PROBELM

Then it was years later when we were doing Iron Cross he contacted me and wanted to know if I wanted the rest. I bought what he was offering and again had 1/2 warped but I saved them and last year DE-Warped them perfect

I can honestly say no one in any band I tracked ever came back and said they had a problem.

Now I did have bands like Commandment and Apollo Ra contact me after they saw there stuff released but it was always worked out peacefully Since we always had signed contracts with the rights holders before we did anything. If band members who didn't have any rights showed up later well.... But we always pleased them too..

Uhh... I accidently came across some sale list from '98, I think, on the web the other day, and before noticing the 'last updated' date there, I was drooling over the prices on some of those records, which basically were around $20-30 below the current price level.

Sorry for the off-topic, but how would you suggest to de-warp records? I've always avoided buying warped records even at low prices, but I think I have a couple that would need de-warping...

An interesting history lesson for sure. I have an old Rare Ass-catalogue from '99 I think. It was one of my first encounters w/ rare & obscure Heavy Metal, but unfortunately the prices were more up-to-date by then. Still, just seeing/reading about these mysterious, unattainable records for the first time was quite a kicker.

This reminds me of my old demo-sale list from the old D.U.M.S.T.-site:

If only I'd forseen ebay back then :(

Cool to see stuff from the old lists here. I actually remember a couple of those names that Gluckose mentioned there, though I didn't really collect 80s metal in the 90s. I was more into 70s stuff, but I was so late into that, the prices were already sky high happened from the early 90s).
I know I ain't doing much,
doing nothing means a lot to me.

There is a unit on the market from Germany right now for around 1500
That works great on (Edge, dish, storage warps) BUT will not work on anything caused by heat damage. So if the needle jumps OK but if there is damage to the groove forget it.
