IK 002 - PORTRAIT - Self titled debut CD

We're honoured that PORTRAIT, Sweden's best newcomer since ages, have chosen us to release their full-length debut CD. The CD will be titled "Portrait" and features eight tracks of the finest traditional metal in the vein of old Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, Pagan Altar and Iron Maiden you'll hear this year. Blazing twin guitar leads, neckbreaking riffing, insane vocals - it's all there. Be prepared to be blown "Into the Nothingness"!!!

Here's the tracklist:

2. A GHASTLY SILENCE
3. VILLAGE OF THE FALLEN ANGEL
4. CONSECRATION
5. A THOUSAND NIGHTMARES
6. BOW UNTO THE DEVIL
7. BEWARE THE DEMONS
8. THE ADVERSARY

The CD will come with a 20page booklet and a stunning piece of Artwork painted by Dimitar Nikolov (KIT, Steel Assassin, Amulance...). The first 100 CDs will come with some nice extras.

There will also be a limited vinyl edition done by High Roller Records (Manilla Road, Stygian Shore...). It will be released at the same time as the CD. You can get both the CD and the vinyl versions from us.

Right now the band is doing the final mixes. We'll probably have the material by mid-February. At the moment we're aiming for a release at Keep it True X (3rd/4th April). No guarantee though!

Yes, most probably.

Sorry, not yet. We wanted to wait until we know the definite release date before we open pre-order.

Indeed. Having Portrait on a vinyl would be the first really big event of the 2008. Afterwards come Shackles, I believe.

We will do a small release party the evening before Keep it True X. If you're already in the area on Thursday, April 3rd, you should not miss this. The album is packed with killer tunes. There will be great franconian beer, the band will be there of course, plenty of good music and some giveaways.

Spread the word, be there and be among the first to get the killer debut album by PORTRAIT!!!
