WARRIOR
There was also a KRAKEN (UK), they put out the 'fantasy/reality' EP. They're probably my fave of the three.
Both the german and UK AVENGER were pretty good
Several MAYHEMs have floated around too
There was an 80s UNLEASHED long before the death metal band came along
Several HALLOWEENs too (the Detroit one, an italian one, and at least one more I think)

Of the 2 I know, I definitely prefer the US band (the one that was on Metal Massacre VI).nightsblood wrote:Several MAYHEMs have floated around too
Speaking of Metal Massacre, it's kind of funny that there are 2 Overkills, one on MM2 and the more well-known one on MM5. Obviously I prefer the latter.

EPIDEMIC from USA and Greece (I prefer the US band)
AFTERMATH, one from Texas (haven't heard yet) and one from Chicago
Haven't heard the Jap. Sabbat yet ... but I doubt that they can beat the UK band
VENDETTA from Finland and Germany (which I like more)
BLOODBATH from Serbia and Sweden (I actually like "Breeding Death" EP more than anything from Serbian band
DEVASTATION from Croatia and several bands from US (love the Idolatry album!) and there's got to be more of them.
AGRESSOR from Brazil and France (I prefer the French band)
BAPHOMET from Germany, which I like more than US Baphomet
EXCITER from Holland and Canada, I like the Canadians more of course
MASTER - I prefer the Russian band
PANIC from Brazil and US (I like these more )
TURBO 123 bands with that name
... and there's also Slovenian Abattoir
