just checked them. The MFN pressing has no inlay. The private presing has an inlay and much more beautiful cver. The colors are a bit different. The private one looks really private For thse pricing check musicstack there aretons of all pressings although not all that cheap. The private one in good conditions costs 20-25 € I think

I'm not 100% it's a lyric sheet, some sort of promo/merchandise insert, I'll have to have a gander mate. The Knell wrote:?????? I gotta settle this since it's such an all-time fave album of mine:Fils Du Metal wrote:[url=http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/5vhn-16-jpg.html]
Is that transparent-yellow RIPPER vinyl the one commonly known as the "100 numbered gold vinyl version", or is it an ever more rare edition?

I'm only impressed by a collection that was hunted down cheap. Having loads of money some how cheapens things for me. I have enough money to pay for higher end items, but I don't do it as I find this unfulfilling in every way. It's all about the hunt.

a wise sentence...yes, that it is...others play poker and spend their money in casinos, some drink, take drugs, some go to the red light district. Finally record collecting is like any addiction...and in most cases here people are real addictsIt's all about the hunt. Very Happy
But the hunting is the real thing.
Problem are the items with up to 5 copies. When being offered the hunting principle falls down...surely only if you really want this item but then you have this decision fast and the cheap-principle don't work.
For the big collectors that store everything or collect different metal styles and themes it will always end in a mix...otherwise you collect by accident what you find cheap. I do this with CDs cause I actually hate them but if seeing them one flea markets for 1 € I also buy the musically good items or rare items...makes also fun but would not make me happy as collector.
When I collect a label where all records are killer like for example Devil's records I could not wait until I find all for 1 € or maybe 5 €....

so what does "cheap" mean? If you paid $1 for a $10 record or $100 for a $1000 record? Both have happened to me and of course I've paid a lot to get something I really wanted at times.

It is not paying 1 US$ for a Militia-The Sybling, it is also paying 500 € for a Militia. Both prices are cheap in their way but for those rare records there is always a proportion or ratio for this.
paying 500 € for Militia is the same cheapness as paying 1 € for AC/DC's Highway to Hell which is usually 5 €....Compared with the real chance to see and find it again at all or cheaper...a simple decision...
So I think a golden Ripper is "cheap" for 100 € +/- (still have to add: Maybe this changed since those re-issue came out....)
And finally there are records like a yellow Avatar 7" where all principles fall down for all here.

Yes very good answer from Peter.
I got the original graven image EP and street child for free, decoy paris for $5,rellik for $5 etc BUT i did pay 250 euro for solar eagle (still cheap for its standards) i just paid around 350 euro for slauter (by far the most money i ever spent on a record) etc,BUT where the hell would i find it? money is nothing compared to John Stewart's shrieks
it IS all about the hunt.my worst nightmare is running out of a wantlist, and thankfully i m sure it ll never happen.
