Killer episode... The only one I recognized was Brad Sinsel, whether it was TKO or Suicide Squad I don't recall... though that "remember my name" track was triggering some recall as well. Lovely stuff, think I'll blast it over the PA at lunch rush tomorrow.

EDIT: FUCK! I knew it... it's Mutt's ex! I thought it was, but didn't trust my instinct. Killer cut, the flip sucks!

i'm pretty sure there's a track on here by THE SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES, but can't recall the title. from the "Extended Revelation" album. is it "Black Star"?
Also, a track by BIG STAR from their 1st album.

Right on both counts malegys. Neither are songs i thought would be quickly identified here, but i should really have known better.

Yup, it was TKO's 'End Of The Line' from 'In Your Face' & the little lady with the huge voice was indeed 'Mutt's ex'.
Here's the rather odd TV advert which 1st introduced me to the song way back in 1981:
I cannot, I shall not, I will not obey.

Nicely done Noisenik, particularly on identifying the Zeta song which seems to be an unknown quantity to most. I know you know track 17 too as we've discussed the band in the past.
No idea if that's Helmet's best track as i've not investigated their catalogue very deeply, but it's a great example of how to most effectively arrange a song with a quiet/loud dynamic & a tremendously catchy chorus.

Updated tracklist:

01. JOHNNY HAWKSWORTH - Have A Merry Quickstep (from the 'Glen Michael's Cartoon Cavalcade' TV OST (1966?))
02. BALTIK - Leslie Briggs (Cult Of The Underdog Theme) (from the 'Baltik' LP (1973))
03.
04.
05.
06.
07. STEVIE LANGE - Remember My Name (from the 'Remember My Name' 7" (1981))
08. THE SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES - Black Star (from the 'Extended Revelation (For The Psychic Weaklings Of Western Civilization)' LP (1998))
09.
10.
11. BIG STAR - Thirteen (from the '#1 Record' LP (1972)
12. THE HIVES - Die, All Right! (from the 'Veni, Vidi, Vicious' LP (2002))
13. Y & T - Dirty Girl (from the 'Earthshaker' LP (1981))
14. WAYNE ROBINSON - The Game (from the 'Division 4' TV OST (1975))
15. ZETA - Walking Down The Starway (from the 'Speleman' 7" (1978))
16. TKO - End Of The Line (from the 'In Your Face' LP (1984))
17.
18. HELMET - See You Dead (from the 'Size Matters' LP (2004))
19.

Just 8 songs left to I.D. I'm betting Rob & Kristian can mop up the remainder.

I forgot lta that I actually reviewed them in ML. Dementia in penultimate stage? the fuck? I could still blame it on covid. 2020 have nigh erased everything that preceded it.

Thanks for choosing them.

I can't believe this is from 1981. Amazing...

For the rest, I think it could only be said: Good Morning! Shall we find a corpse? Does it belong to you?
