As usual with Japanese Steel it's a bit hit & miss/acquired taste. The live recording is ok qualitywise, but often lacks the punch it deserves.
It's nice to hear how well the S.O.S. cover works without doing any radical changes to the actual song. And I mean "well" for what it is, because sounds like the kind of cheesy Power Metal I don't like at all, but having heard other pop songs played in this style (including a few Abba ones), this didn't make me cringe. It was somewhat fun as an oddity, actually.
