Swedish is quite ok as long as it's written down (don't understand a word of spoken Swedish).
Price exploded though with still 5 days to go. Guess I'm out for this one.

Wow, first time I looked it was about 740EUR and now it's already crossed the 1000EUR mark.
Good luck J. finding an affordable copy...you'll manage somehow.

When Final first posted it the price was €440.
My 'decent amount of money' offer doesn't reach into the 4-digit region. At those prices I'd rather buy 5 less rare records and live with the fact that I won't own a Yellow goat anytime soon.

Yesterday at a concert I was reminded by someone that I said I was going to buy a Yellow goat when I first started my current job in 2010. Should have kept my word to myself and bought one then :P

Agree 100% with you humus. I did some further checking around and found that another yellow goat had sold a while back at a local record store for about 900 euros. It was in excellent shape according to the shop owner.

I've no idea what kind of money it usually goes for these days, but maybe it is actually more expensive in Sweden. That's been the case with other records as well in my experience. One example would be GOTHAM CITY.

Many years ago when we spoke you were looking for a yellow goat but didn't want to spend the money on it what was worth it back then. Now you raised that amount of money you want to spent but the record's price increased again....so it will be a long hunt :)
(i know your amount that you want to spent on it and i think with some luck, you may find one)

Absolutely true. With the amount that I'm willing to spend now I could have easily bought two copies a decade ago.
On the other hand, spending such a load of cash a decade ago would have been a bigger burden on my finances than it would be nowadays. I could easily buy one of the copies on Discogs and I wouldn't have to cut down on any other expense, but I've always been a bargain hunter rather than a big spender so I need the feeling that I'm paying a fair price.

I know the feeling but sometimes it doesn't work...and then i spend a fair amount. But i would never pay 1000EUR for anything. Not even half of that amount! (Well if someone offers me a METAL MERCHANT for that price I would reconsider :) )

I've seen you lay 600€ down for a bunch of records before (ok, not on ONE record) :-)

1400 euro with 2 hours to go.

Anybody wants to sell me Lost tapes of Cogumelo, Worship him, Violence is the prince of this world, Thy mighty contract,...? Seems like I won't be buying a Yellow goat anytime soon so there's spare cash

Had one with no insert which I picked up for $350 - $400 USD back in 2011/12.

Long gone but those days are over. Only have a small handful of 'expensive' records on my want list and this is one of them.

I got a stone cold mint copy complete with insert for 600$ A couple years back so it’s possible but I’m really surprised about the amount this copy fetched considering it wasn’t in pristine condition as well as a folded insert but I guess the yellow goat hype lives up to its name these days.
