The main man of this project was guitarist Claudio Causin...some years before he was involved with the hard/prog band
Forzanove (from Venezia/Venice) ,they released a rare album entitled Autoanalisi in 1981 before quitting...

I have this lp. Heavily sampled by breakbeat guys.
I was actually coming to post this because I had been reading about it. The "It's a New Day" track alone has been sampled almost 500 times, including big hits like "Clubbed To Death" (mostly known from The Matrix soundtrack) and The Prodigy's "Poison". I wonder how much (if any) of that money those guys get.

Yes, Great cover artwork. If I'm not mistaken this was used too for an Iron Maiden bootleg cd.

haha that comp's an Aussie release from the 70's - my mate had it.... sidenote: apart from AC/DC it also featured 'Flash & The Pan' , the post-Easybeats band of their producers Harry Vanda & Gerorge Young....

....IIRC there was actually quite a few mainstream/Top 40 comps with "Metal" looking covers released down here in the 70's & 80's....

From a quick google search, I found the author is Bruce Pennington. Apparently, it was originally done for the cover of a Frank Herbert (author of "Dune#) book called "The Green Brain", and then reused several times for other stuff.

Off topic, but I really recommend "The Jesus Incident" by Frank Herbert if you're into sci-fi. It served as inspiration both for the movie Avatar but also the old computer games Marathon and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.
