Re: A database of lost inserts?

I see this as more of a one man project. All the scan requests that I've seen go without answer and we know that people that actaully have a scanner are too lazy to paste together multi image scans in photoshop.

Hell, I've seen just plan LP sleeve requests go without a reply sadly.

Those are uncompressed image formats - think jpg's but friggin huge. Actually you can save the scans as jpg's and just email them directly, as long as the quality is set to Maximum when saving the image.

DaN, maybe start a master wantslist and keep it at the top? I can check if I have any missing from first request but you know I move a little slow these days.

Another request:
Vengeance "Way Past Go/Driving Force" 7" insert

Good idea, will do. And cheers in advance for your contributions, but remember: no hurry - and leave the ps/piecing-together work to me..
About the mysterious THOD insert, I've heard of a few copies that had this typewritten text insert, I might even have a photo of it somewhere, but not a proper hi-res scan. It's one of those that was only included in a very limited number of copies.

For Levi: http://thecorroseum.org/features/insert ... 300dpi.jpg
(And yes, that's exactly the same low quality of the text as on the original insert.)

Hey, so it is. These lyrics are even madder than I thought. Thanks.

There are programs for stitching together scans automatically!
For example Microsoft Image Composite Editor.
Works very well! It just needs overlapping parts of the scan so it can find where to put wich scan!

I think with Photoshop that should be possible too!
