Ample Destruction label variation

Post by loxx »

Does anyone know what's the story with the silver labels with black letters & red letters on the original Iron Works release?

black

red

One guy there on discogs claims the black one is the 1st press but it's just a speculation. Seems the matrix numbers are the same. Maybe just a random variation without any rhyme or reason. Or export version?

I have the red letter one, matrix
A side: IW-1001A L-17904 Yes he still is (and something I cant decipher...)

Thx

Why not ask Dave Richards directly?

I feel like he would know a lot more then the guys speculating on Discogs.

I know Mr. Richards and dealt with him in the past, usually his answers to specific topics were cloudy if not unrelated to my questions  But since none seems to know I might aswell try and contact him again.

Can this price (red labels) be realistic?

500$ Not very likely, there were always copies for sale, it might be less common but judging by popsike, price was usually normal.

I have both versions, I think Dave just used whatever labels he had made up. The matrix numbers are all that count
