Demo band from Connecticut, they released one demo in 1988. Absolutely killer stuff, maybe even top-20 material for me demo-wise.

That doesn't mean it's not there ;-) Modern Helstar is more thrash than many songs mentioned here.

Seeing some of the choices in the lists above, I'm really tempted to post another batch of 30 songs or so :)

Here are my 10 favorite thrash songs.

Songs 1-5 are definitely my 5 favorites. The next 5 change often depending on what I listened to recently but these
5 are definitely in the top 25 or so.

1. Deathrow - Pledge to Die
2. Dark Angel - Perish in Flames
3. Morbid Saint - Damien
4. Morbid Saint - Crying for Death
5. Powermad - Blind Leading the Blind

6. Demolition Hammer - Omnivore
7. Onslaught - Flame of the Antichrist
8. Destruction - Death Trap
9. Sadus - Fight or Die
10. Kreator - Command of the Blade
Internal organs severely ruptured from an
infinite barrage of sledgehammer blows

Some great lists including plenty of my personal runner-ups here...

Just after a 10-minute thought process I come up with this:

VOIVOD - Tornado
INFERAL MAJESTY - Night Of The Living Dead
SABBAT - A Cautionary Tale
HOLY TERROR - uuuh.. Can't pick just one from "Mindwars" atm..
DESTRUCTION - Bestial Invasion
SLAYER - Post-Mortem
SINDROME - Rapture In Blood
AGENT STEEL - Mad Locust Rising
DESTRUCTOR - Pounding Evil
NECRONOMICON - Dark Land

I guess half of them are set in stone, the other half may vary depending on mood & memory...

Ah yeah. I have to add 'EXUMER - Xiron Darkstar' and 'POWERMAD - Plastic Town' to my list! Absolute Power is such a solid album.
