Heavy Metal - Zines and Mags.

Post by Tomasteel »

I was wondering if anyone can recommend me some cool Heavy Metal Mags in order to read about classic stuff and good newcomers. It doesn't matter where they come from or if they are old or new.

Hm...Then I can't really recommend any other, as more or less I follow mainly the ones mentioned above. Unfortunately, the golden age of fanzines was back in mid-90s (of course apart from the underground 80s scene which I was too young to follow) and now seems long gone.

PS. Some more cool local efforts:
Behind The Mirror #16 (great but greek written)
Forgotten Scroll #5 (english written, very good as well, but it contains only interviews and I would have liked also some nice reviwes, articles etc)
It contains interviews by:
SYRUS (US)
EXODO (SP)
STREET CHILD (US)
FORTRESS UNDER SIEGE (GR)
XCEL (US)
LATENT FURY (US)
RUFF JUSTICE (US)
POWER OF OMENS (US)
CROWHAVEN (US)
ZEN VENOM (AUS)
STEEL ANGEL (US)
ASHBURY (US)
LEGIONED MARCHER (US)
COMMANDMENT (US)
MENTAL POWERS (GR)
SPELLBOUND (GR)
