Rare stuff from Belgium (1979-1988)
Rare stuff from Belgium (1979-1988)
Thought i'd rip some more demos & some singles of rare Belgian stuff for you lot.
Evil sinner's first demo here called "Merciless" from June 1987. This tape had snapped & i spent about an hour fixing it...what a horrible job! Anyway, Belgian thrash with lots of Bassdrums.

Evil Sinner's 2nd demo from April 1988. This tape survived a bit better, but the songs aren't as good as the 1st demo i think, but hey...You might as well grab it as it isn't online anywhere.

Here's a killer demo that should be released on vinyl. Winged Warrior, 1st demo from 1985 called "The Coffin Unveiled". Think Ür-speed metal which kinda sounds like Bulldozer. This one fucking kills & rare as Hell too.

Now for some rare 7"s. First up, we have the Thunderfire 7" from 1983, full on nasty Motörhead style (with those typical Belgian Double bassdrums again). This was privately released a year before their LP on Neat/Roadrunner.

Now we have some great NWOBHM sounding band called Purple Haze, which only released this 7" in 1981 & a demo tape in 1983. Here's the 7" in it's full glory. "All i want" reminds me of "Paranoid" i think.

Here's where the early nwobhm influence & punk start to blend together. Alcazar were a mix of both really, but tended to lean towards the punk side more. The A side is the more "metallic" one. The B side definitely more punk. This is a super rare 7" nevertheless.

& finally, a 7" that is sought after by metalheads & punks alike. The Onion Dolls with their only 7" "The kids/Hot love" from 1979. Musically, this is wild hardrock with a huge punk influence, but it also the band that would later feature members in Crossfire (Hence why metalheads want this 7" too). Still a killer piece of vinyl, although being more wild Punk than strictly metal.

As always, these were ripped from my own collection at 320 kbps & not from another blog or website. Hope you dig it.
