Yes, I was surpriced about the good condition myself. It only has a tiny bit of ringwear. But it's confirmed original from many collectors and also from the band.

ACK! I haven't seen that anywhere in years. My memory is hazy but I thought it came with a p/s? Certainly a treasure in any form. Don't suppose we could hear it?

@Traitor

Is that the second Sanctus demo (Gates Of Sorrow) that you have in your pic?

Would like to hear this. So I am generally asking if it is available anywhere for download? If not a tape copy would also be ok for me, in this case PM me, we can arrange a trade.

Rob- that's a cool label design, don't know the single at all though- what is it?

It is a scarce single, no doubt. You don't recognize the song title?

Nope, I drew a bank on 'rarz'. Did some poking around though; looks like it's tied to Legend. That would explain why I didn't recognize the song title; I never got into 'From the Fjords' much (I know, I know, I'll turn in my tr00 kvlt membership card when I log out :) ).

Interesting item! Did it come out before or after the album? Looks like they're both from '79. I think I remember Keir talking about a single that members put out a few years later, but I've never heard of this one.

I never met anyone that heard "From the Fjords" that didn't like it :)
I don't know much about the single except this song appeared on 'From the Fjords'. If it is before or after I don't know. Beyond that it is an enigma. Maybe it came with a picture sleeve, who knows? I do know this is the only known copy(of course as soon as I say this another will show up, haha). It came from Paul Rote originally, he found it in the early 90's. After Paul went insane it went to John Haupt and Jim, then I bought it off Jim on ebay.

Intriguing find indeed... :shock:

So is "JUDGE" the band name then? And is it a different recording from the FtF lp? What song is on the flipside? How do I get to hear this curio? Curiouser and curiouser...

The JUDGE 7", wow, great item Rob, never seen one before. It has "Aramis (The Lover)" on the flipside, right? I wonder if that song is any good?
Where were you in '79 when the dam began to burst
